- Provide leadership in clinical practice;

Job description:
- Provide leadership to the interdisciplinary team while adhering to Continuing Care policies and philosophy of care;
- provide direct, clinical supervision to licensed practical nurses (LPN) and RNs; and
- support the interdisciplinary team to provide excellent resident care, and ensures adequate resources are met for program needs.

Job requirements
- Current registration with a Canadian registered nursing regulatory authority including the Yukon Registered Nurses Association (YRNA);
- supervisory experience leading a team;
- recent applied knowledge of nursing theory, practices and techniques normally acquired through work experience while working with seniors, adults, and/or children, preferably in a long-term care environment;
- TB screening;
- vulnerable sector RCMP security clearance;
- CPR Level HCP (completed within last 18 months);
- Food Safe;
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods;
- WHMIS 2015; and
- valid Class 5 driver’s license.
